pop up

cris’s mom just bought a new camper and gave us her pop-up. it is, of course, nothing fancy, but we’re so thankful for it! we gave it a test sleep in the driveway and had a lot of fun. we just brought out the kids’ tape player and some books and snuggled in for a little simple fun.

for my man

i love when cris requests a project, and i usually get right to crafting. i make things all the time for the kids because i want to, but when cris asks me to do something, i really feel like he needs me to do it and without my crafting, he’d be helpless. and really, how can a man function if his chisels are rolling around in a tool box, nicking things and dulling their blades? so i swung into action and made up this little roll. it amused me to see how much it was like a crayon roll or a knitting needle roll (almost exactly the same), and i can’t wait to present it to him tonight!
